Projects

Medical Assistance
Nahalay Hessed has a large store of medical, rehabilitative, nursing and emergency equipment.
1. Mobility equipment - wheelchairs, walkers, Rollators, walking sticks, crutches, hoists and hammocks.
2. Toilet and bathing accessories - bathing and toilet chairs with/out wheels, bathing accessories, safety grip bars.
3. Medical furniture - nursing beds, rails, medical chairs, accessories for bedsores.
4. Physiotherapy - equipment and accessories, treatment beds, wood products, assistive items.
5. Complementary medicine - occupational therapy accessories, furniture and equipment for medical massage.
6. Emergency medicine - respiratory and rescue apparatus, oxygen tanks and valves, monitors, ECG.
The medical equipment may be borrowed if it is in stock, or purchased for cost price alone. Some items can be received free of charge .

Youth Education
As part of the wide-ranging activities of Nahalay Hessed, we take an actively caring approach towards our youth, the children in Israel of all sectors, through several avenues:
1. Experienced senior consultants are at our service to assist and guide you in finding the most appropriate educational framework throughout the country, and help you implement the decision, for youth in the 13 to 18 year range.
2. Professional educators are at our service who will be glad to help your children progress in all study related issues, particularly those connected with Jewish studies. This service requires payment to the educator but is often subsidized. Suited to children and youth from age 5 - 18 years old.

Koshering the Kitchen
Our religiously observant volunteers will come to your home and kosher the kitchen from top to bottom, while providing practical direction and relevant explanatory material.
Please order this service about two weeks in advance. The time needed for implementing the service is approximately 6 hours. Fee is subsidized and limited to covering costs only.

'Gamach' Tefillin and Mezuzot - Philanthropic Source
Religiously observant scribes are at our service who, in their free time, write tefillin and mezuzah parchments for those of limited means. The service is given at a price that covers only the cost of the parchment and basic accessories.
